David D’Onofrio – Partner David D’Onofrio has nearly 20 years of political, communications and development experience dealing in crisis management, strategic communications and creating winning “campaigns” for his corporate and non-profit clientele. His background in public and government relations is varied and ranges from obscure regulatory matters to billion dollar projects. D’Onofrio’s winning campaigns include the Loudoun Hounds, HCA Virginia, The Village at Leesburg, St. John’s Catholic Church and thousands of media impressions across the nation and region for his clients.
Earlier in his career, D’Onofrio worked for The Mills Corporation as the Development Director on the Piers 27-31 project and as Mills’ Director of Corporate Communications where he was responsible for all media strategies and execution for their existing portfolio, their developing properties and their senior management. Prior to Mills, D’Onofrio served as Vice President of Government and Public Affairs for National Small Business United, the nation’s oldest small business advocacy association and as Director of Federal and Regulatory Affairs for the Can Manufacturers Institute. |
Ben Kelahan – Partner Ben brings nearly two decades of experience to The Casey Group in varied fields of energy, land use, political campaigns and strategic political consulting. Ben has spent the last six years working with The Saint Consulting Group, a national consulting firm, where he ran the Mid-Atlantic office and was Senior Vice President of Energy upon his departure. Ben was responsible for business development, client satisfaction and project completion in all energy sector work for the company. His projects included natural gas drilling and pipeline, wind energy, biomass, transmission line, and conventional power plant permitting cases including local land use entitlements such as re-zonings and special use permits, in addition to state regulatory certificates.
Prior to that, Ben directed operations for The Advocacy Group an international lobbying network and managed state government relations and grass roots programs for The National Mentoring Partnership. He began his career in government and public relations programs in the tobacco industry at The Tobacco Institute and Lorillard Tobacco Company. |

Stephanie D’Onofrio brings years of event planning experience to The Casey Group with
past clients including The World Bank (sponsored by Nike and Mattel), the Main Street Republican Partnership and Ambassador Eric HoTung. Steph’s past employment includes Rep. Mike Bilirakis (Florida), Arter & Hadden, APCO and the Main Street Republican Partnership.
